On Diola land, when you harvest good crops for years, the ground is left to rest for at least a year and treated so that it becomes more fertile.
During that year, we head on an adventure to a foreign village where you are warmly welcomed and granted a land to cultivate. This adventure is often blessed by good crops which are celebrated.
KASSAMA reflects an adventure towards the city of SAN in Mali where we do not know anyone and our first contact does not speak a word of French. This is where artisans, attentive of their perennial knowledge and art inheritated from their ancestors, welcomed us with open arms.
